How To Smite Demons: The Basics

 

Overview

Smiting should be your "go to" reponse to most demonic attacks as they actually hurt/injure/weaken the demons, whereas binding prayers only incapacitate them for a short time and do little to nothing to make them actually go away. When you use smiting prayers, it is like picking up a baseball bat and swinging it at the head of your enemy as hard as you can. They don't get used to it. Everytime you do it is like the first time, and the damage is cumulative. Demons cannot sustain continuous smiting, unless of course, you are feeding them with continuous sinful behavior that energizes them, (i.e. recharges their batteries) or they are geting power from another source. 

 

Implementation 

When experiencing demonic attacks, never try to reason with demons. Trying to reason with demons is like trying to win a game of checkers against a chess master. Demons have been doing what they do for thousands of years, and you are not the first (or the last) person they will be attacking. They know where all of your "buttons" are and they know exactly how to "push them". Instead of engaging them in dialog, smite them! Repeating the same smite 3 or more times in succession amplifies the effect.  When you engage a demon in dialog, you are giving them what they want (reward), and you are giving them a reason (incentive) to keep coming back. When you smite them instead, you are depriving them of what they want (failure) and you are giving them a good reason (pain) not to come back.

 

You can smite demons individually or collectively. 

Examples

"I smite this demon of (lust/anger/sadness, etc) with..."

 

"I smite every spirit/entity in me, or on me, that is not from God with..."

 

"I smite every demon under the sound of my voice with..."

 

"I smite whatever is attacking my (name of body part/emotions/mind/thoughts/sexuality, dreams, etc) with..."

 

 

Smites

 

 

Don’t forget to begin each smite with “In the name of Jesus...” or end with...”in Jesus’ name!”

 

Address the demon by it’s name if you know what it is. Speak out loud and with authority!

“Angels of God smite these demons in Jesus’ name!”

 

Ask God to “smite them with a smite they’ve never had before!”

 

Ask God to “give them a foretaste of the Lake of Fire!”

 

Ask God to “strike them with your right hand!”

 

Ask God to “send your tormentors to torment this/these demon(s) fully and completely!”

 

NOTE: Always ask God or Jesus to do things, never tell Them what to do.
